Securing the Workforce of the Future is an outreach programme developed from 2014, geared towards senior secondary school leavers, preparing them for what is expected in the world of work.
Initially, the Barbados Employers’ Confederation in conjunction with the Ministry of Labour sponsored and hosted this as a one (1) day workshop with students selected from various schools; however, the Confederation has since revamped the programme to run for a period of seven (7) weeks with more in-depth information and also to gain a wider reach of students at a time.
