The COVID-19 pandemic has ushered in a new wave of remote work policies for employers who otherwise may not have considered them. Urged by recommendations from the directives from government, some businesses have implemented emergency plans to adhere to physical distancing orders to keep their businesses opened, and employees safe and employed. Indeed, companies that have resisted the future of work, had to move to adapt a remote work environment with little time to prepare and some have found themselves exposed to security risks and workflow inefficiencies.
