Over the years, some of us have continuously heard mentions of HR being a department which operates as a silo. This notion has slowly become a thing of the past as adjustments have been made to show that HR is actually more “people-centric”. So much so that it was first known under terms such as administration, personnel, human resources as we know it and the more contemporary term “people management”.
