This workshop is designed to prepare managers or business owners whose companies fall within the scope of the Shops Act for the updates and new provisions that the act will encompass. Lifelong premises such as “change being the only constant”, paired with the economic outlook at present warrants careful introspection into the effective management of companies. Enshrined within the Shops Act are numerous provisions that can prevent cost implications.
Understanding these various aspects shall prove beneficial to the maintenance and development of any company. During this workshop specific emphasis will be placed on the new changes to the Act; helping employers to understand whether their company falls within the definition of a Shop; provisions around the terms and conditions of employment as well as, health and safety precautions outlined by the Act. By attending, participants will gain the requisite knowledge to achieving compliance.
