Occasionally, employment issues are unnecessarily escalated due to a lack of proper handling at the enterprise level between management and employees. For this reason, the need to recruit or develop skilled personnel in the field of Industrial Relations, has become more prevalent. The reality is that leveraging the concepts of industrial relations allows both employers and employees to understand each other’s needs and concerns, thereby establishing and maintaining a more harmonious relationship.
The sessions within this 3-day workshop have been designed as a continuation of the IR Academy Levels 1 and 2 – the final instalment to the IR NVQ Level 3 program – to assist participants in developing their toolkit for managing the employment relationship. Developing skills in leadership, negotiation and administration compliance with labour legislation, will allow them to not only prevent or minimize employment issues, but adequately respond to emerging circumstances.
