Handling Grievances and Conducting Discipline
Within every workplace, there are employees who are not satisfied with their work environment or do not fit the organizational culture. As a result, workplace grievances may occur so long as there is an employer-employee relationship. In this way, HR professionals have the difficult task of trying to balance employee happiness with the efficiency of the organization.
While employee happiness and job satisfaction should be the top concern of any HR professional, they must also conduct discipline when warranted. Conducting discipline is a multifaceted process which is guided not only by internal policies and customs and practice, but importantly by legislation. As a result, supervisors and managers should also understand how and why following the progressive discipline stages are fundamental; Beyond specific tenants, procedures and processes being outlined and mandated by legislation, conducting fair and equitable discipline has the potential to boost the morale of staff.
This workshop will help participants to understand and better manage the process of discipline, providing the tools and knowledge necessary to complete this process correctly, each time.
This Business e-Workshop will be conducted via ZOOM platform. The link will be shared with participants after registration and payment has been confirmed.
