Employment law encompasses a broad range of legislation and regulations that govern the relationship between employees and employers; from the initial hiring process to termination and everything in between. The purpose of these laws is to protect the rights and interests of workers on the one hand, but to ensure that there is a level playing field for both employers and employees on the other.
