Becoming an emotionally effective leader first requires a level of self-awareness that many persons struggle to develop. If one can achieve this awareness, managing the varying personalities, conflicts and stresses within the organization will be an easier process.
This workshop will place specific emphasis on recognizing the benefits to be derived from being emotionally in tune not only with yourself, but those around you.
Guided by a certified Emotional Intelligence coach, participants will be required to complete the EQ-i 2.0 questionnaire. The subsequent detailed report will provide key highlights, not only on personal strengths but specific areas of weakness that could benefit from greater focus. The presentation and discussions will therefore assist participants in making the necessary links between their reports and their respective roles, to ultimately becoming more equipped supervisors.
Participants Will
- Discuss the role of EI for supervisors
- Discuss its importance within the organization
