A sound knowledge of labour legislation is the foundation of good human resources policies and harmonious industrial relations. However, many professionals are not aware of the critical pieces of legislation that govern the employee-employer relationship.
This is further compounded by the inability to differentiate between legally stipulated employment conditions and those terms and conditions which have been generated through custom and practice. During this workshop, specific emphasis will be placed on the most commonly utilised pieces of labour legislation.
