What is first aid? How and when should first aid be administered? How can you competently issue first aid in an emergency? These questions will all be answered and practised during this training program. No matter where an emergency may strike, having the right skills can save time, and save lives. The Safety and Health at Work (SHaW) Act dictates that in every workplace there should be 1 first aider to every twenty-five (25) employees.
Participants Will Learn

- Deal with wounds and bleeding
- Deal with fractures and spinal injuries
- Assist with sudden illness
- Assess victims of poisoning
- Treat Bites and stings
