Peter Drucker said, “Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things”. In any change initiative there is a thin line between doing things right and doing what you consider to be the right things. What allows you to differentiate? Understanding that some leadership principles are foundational and can have a significant impact on the success of any project is critical. Change occurs only when necessary, therefore there must be a desired outcome. A successful business owner needs to be both a strong leader and manager to get their team on board to follow them towards their vision of success. Leadership is about getting people to understand and believe in your vision as oppose to simply administering and making sure the day-to-day tasks are happening as they should.

During this workshop, specific emphasis will be placed on understanding the principles of leadership, differentiating between leadership and management, and applying said principles to a change strategy that will allow any organisation to minimize resistance, increase engagement and improve performance.
